Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Stageway collects on stageway.ca, why, and how we protect it. It does not cover the Stageway platform (stageway.io), whose use is governed by our agreements with customers.

Information we collect
- When you write to us: your name, organization, email and any details about your event you choose to share. The site's form sends nothing on its own: it prepares an email in your mail app, which you decide to send.
- When you book a call: scheduling goes through Google Calendar. We receive your name, email and the time you chose.
- Technical data: our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver and protect the site.
We use no audience analytics, no targeted advertising and no profiling.
Why we use it
- To answer your requests.
- To prepare and hold demos.
- To follow up on your request.
- To protect the site against abuse.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security, for example to tell visitors from bots.
If we ever add an analytics tool, it will be off by default and we will ask for your consent before turning it on.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the providers that help us run the site and answer you:
- Cloudflare, for hosting and security.
- Google, for email and scheduling.
These providers may process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. We govern these transfers by contract, as the law requires.
Retention
We keep your information as long as needed for the purposes above, then destroy or anonymize it. Without a business relationship, requests are deleted no later than 24 months after our last exchange, unless the law requires otherwise.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, and access to the information you send us is limited to the people who need it to answer you.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, correct it, withdraw your consent, stop its dissemination or receive a copy in a structured technological format. Write to privacy@stageway.ca. We reply within 30 days.
You can also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Confidentiality incidents
If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, and we record the incident in our register.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
